Job Description
Engineer the Energy Transition: Design Solar for Industry!
Join Shams Djazair’s Commercial & Industrial (C&I) division and design the solar installations that cut energy costs for Algerian businesses. As a Photovoltaic Engineer, you’ll prepare technical studies and technical-commercial offers for C&I projects — from the first feasibility study to the final proposal — working closely with our sales and engineering teams.
You’ll analyze client bills and consumption, size PV systems, produce fast “Solar Snapshots” and 2D/3D concepts, estimate production, savings and ROI, and support the sales team in client meetings. A role for an engineer who enjoys both technical design and client-oriented project development.
Job Requirements
- Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Energy Systems or a related field.
- Good understanding of PV systems: modules, inverters, DC/AC sizing, protection and grid connection.
- Strong PV sizing and energy-production estimation skills; good command of PVsyst, PVGIS, AutoCAD and Excel (HelioScope, Aurora or SketchUp a strong plus).
- Ability to analyze electricity bills and prepare techno-economic calculations (ROI, payback).
- Able to produce clear, structured and professional technical offers; rigorous, autonomous and detail-oriented.
- French and Arabic required; English a strong advantage.
- Motivated fresh graduates welcome; 1–3 years in solar PV, electrical design or technical sales appreciated.
