Quantify the Impact: Analyze Carbon Footprints for Clean Energy!
Turn sustainability data into action! As a Carbon Emissions Analyst Intern, you’ll focus on measuring and analyzing the environmental impact of our solar projects and operations. You will assist in collecting energy consumption and operational data, applying standard methodologies (like the GHG Protocol) to calculate carbon footprints, identifying key emission sources, and exploring opportunities for further carbon reduction. Your analysis will help demonstrate the tangible environmental benefits of solar energy and inform our sustainability strategy.
Job Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a degree program in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Sustainability, or a related quantitative discipline.
- Strong analytical skills with high proficiency in data handling and calculations (especially using spreadsheets like Excel); familiarity with greenhouse gas (GHG) accounting principles or Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) concepts is a plus.
- Good understanding of climate change science and a genuine interest in quantifying environmental impacts and driving emission reductions.
- Detail-oriented, methodical, and passionate about using data analysis to support environmental decision-making and communication.
